This subregional profile highlights demographics, industries, and occupations in the South Region of San Diego County. The San Diego-Imperial Center of Excellence for Labor Market Research (COE) categorizes San Diego County into four major subregions: Central, East, North, and South. The purpose of this brief is to assist the San Diego-Imperial COE’s stakeholders in developing strategic plans to support the occupational demand and workforce needs of employers in the South Region.
