An analysis conducted by the Los Angeles County Center of Excellence (COE) shows that health care companies have a much greater concentration of job postings in 2022 than any other sector in the county.

Of the more than 7,600 ads examined, seven of the top 10 employers with the most job ads are in the health sector. 

The top three employers with the most job ads in the county are:

• PIH Health, 613 postings
• Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Hospital, 526 postings
• Anthem Blue Cross, 241 postings

Companies not in the health care field with a large number of ads include:

• Verizon, 237 postings
• University of California, 144 postings 
• Marriott International, 135 

The analysis relied on data sourced from the job postings aggregator Burning Glass and examined job ads from January to March. Of the job ads posted by employers in the first three months of 2022, only those with a minimum educational requirement of an associate degree were included in the analysis.
