New Subregional Workforce Demand Assessments for the Inland Empire/Desert Region

The Inland Empire/Desert Region Center of Excellence (COE) has released four updated subregional workforce demand assessments, providing detailed analysis of the High Desert, Low Desert, Riverside County Metro, and San Bernardino County Metro job markets. COE Director Shannon Moran announced the release during the Inland Empire Desert Regional Consortium (IEDRC) quarterly meeting in May.

These comprehensive reports offer valuable insights into the current and projected workforce needs across the various subregions, aiding in the alignment of educational and training programs with market demand.

  • The High Desert report assesses workforce needs in communities served by Barstow, Copper Mountain, and Victor Valley colleges.
  • The Low Desert report incorporates the service areas for College of the Desert and Palo Verde College.
  • Riverside County Metro assesses workforce needs in communities served by Moreno Valley, Norco, Riverside City, and Mt. San Jacinto colleges.
  • San Bernardino County Metro incorporates the service areas for Chaffey, Crafton Hills, and San Bernardino Valley colleges.
