Meet Christopher Chen, LA COE’s Newest Addition to the Team

The Los Angeles Center of Excellence is pleased to welcome Christopher Chen as a research and data analyst. Christopher brings with him a wealth of knowledge and expertise, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology at Claremont Graduate University. His research focus encompasses job and career crafting, talent management, work engagement, human potential, and the future of work.

Christopher is an author and editor of a book on positive psychological interventions and his empirical research and thought leadership has been published in an array of peer-reviewed journal articles and presented at conferences, such as the Academy of Management. 

His academic journey has been complemented by his professional experiences with organizations such as the Los Angeles Unified School District, Boston Consulting Group, and Accenture. Moreover, Christopher played a pivotal role as co-founder and associate director of the CGU-Accenture Talent Innovation Research Lab.

Beyond his scholastic and professional endeavors, Christopher is an avid explorer who finds joy in discovering new cultures and cuisines through travel. Additionally, he is passionate about expanding cultural awareness of Asian American and Pacific Islanders (AAPI) and is president of the Asian Professional Exchange (APEX), a nonprofit based in the Los Angeles region.
