Introducing News Updates From The Greater Sacramento COE
The Greater Sacramento Center of Excellence (COE) provides labor market analysis for eight community colleges spanning seven counties in the Capital Region of California. The North region is home to more than 2.6 million people or nearly 7% of the state’s population.
Our research supports program development efforts and workforce partnerships undertaken by community colleges and other regional stakeholders.
In addition to working closely with local community colleges, the Greater Sacramento COE participates in collaborative partnerships with local K-12 school districts, four-year colleges and universities, industry associations, economic and workforce development offices, and civic leadership organizations.
We provide many other types of reports including a quarterly economic update with regional industry and unemployment data, regional environmental scans, special topics on workforce trends and technology, and industry sector profiles.
The Greater Sacramento COE is hosted by the Los Rios Community College District.
Community colleges served by the Greater Sacramento COE are: American River, Cosumnes River, Folsom Lake, Lake Tahoe, Sacramento City, Sierra, Woodland, and Yuba.
Counties in the region are: El Dorado, Nevada, Placer, Sacramento, Sutter, Yolo, and Yuba.
