Introducing COE News Announcements For The CVML region
Check here regularly for important updates, reports, and key findings from the Central Valley/Mother Lode Center of Excellence (CVML COE).
The CVML COE provides objective labor market analysis for 15 community colleges serving 16 counties in the heart of California.
This research supports program development efforts and workforce partnerships undertaken by community colleges in the region.
In recent months, notable projects completed by the Central Valley/Mother Lode COE include:
- An evaluation of the occupations that complement the skills of oil field workers transitioning into new lines of work
- An analysis of the five recovery economies driving the post-pandemic recovery
- Several reports analyzing regional, county-level, and district-level workforce needs and postsecondary supply of students
In addition to working closely with area community colleges, the CVML COE participates in collaborative partnerships throughout the region.
The CVML COE is hosted by Modesto Junior College, which is part of Yosemite Community College District.
Community colleges served by the Central Valley/Mother Lode COE: Bakersfield College, Cerro Coso Community College, Clovis Community College, College of the Sequoias, Columbia College, Fresno City College, Madera Community College, Merced College, Modesto Junior College, Porterville College, Reedley College, San Joaquin Delta College, Taft College, West Hills College Coalinga, and West Hills College Lemoore.
