CVML COE Releases New Report on Adult Education
The Central Valley Mother Lode Center of Excellence (CVML COE) is pleased to announce its latest publication on adult education. The report gives an in-depth analysis of the current landscape of Career Technical Education (CTE) programs within adult education across the region.
To identify existing adult education programs, the COE developed a comprehensive repository of CTE courses and programs offered by adult education providers across the region. This repository compiles information from individual adult school websites, adult education consortium websites, and includes 294 courses and programs offered by K–12 adult schools.
It provides a comprehensive overview of existing programs and identifies key opportunities to expand and strengthen offerings aligned with high-demand, high-wage occupations. In addition to spotlighting areas for potential new program development, the report outlines pathways to help adult learners upskill, transition into growing industries, and advance within the workforce.
