Together, they serve as a practical resource for students exploring careers, workforce professionals advising job seekers, and college administrators aligning programs with regional employer needs.

San Diego & Imperial Region District Profiles: Reports & Dashboards

The San Diego & Imperial Center of Excellence (COE) developed six profiles for each community college district in the region that provide an overview of demographics, household characteristics, leading industries, top occupations, and student outcomes. Each district profile is accompanied by an interactive dashboard designed to complement the data presented in the report.

Lookup Resource Center

The COE has developed a suite of Looker Studio data tools to help stakeholders explore labor market information and educational program data. These tools provide easy access to workforce and education insights that support pathway planning, program alignment, and grant development. Note: A Google account is required to use these data tools.

The North Far North Center of Excellence for Labor Market Research (NFN COE) has released a series of five district/college profiles for the North (Greater Sacramento) subregion. These profiles provide a detailed analysis of the occupational and program landscape within each district/college, the North (Greater Sacramento) subregion, and the broader North Far North region, offering insights into workforce trends, focus occupations, and educational programs. 
 
This series builds on the foundational research established through the North (Greater Sacramento) COE’s labor market studies and is designed to support informed decision-making by community colleges, workforce development boards, and regional stakeholders. Each district/college profile highlights local labor market needs, employment projections, and opportunities to align education and training programs with regional demand.

Each report highlights high-wage, high-skill occupations in the region and explores how apprenticeships can meet workforce demand while creating more equitable career pathways. These findings are designed to support colleges and regional partners in aligning programs with real-world job opportunities.
