Bay Region Releases New Interactive Dashboards

The Bay Region Center of Excellence (COE) has unveiled two new interactive dashboards, each paired with an in-depth report, to strengthen regional workforce and education planning.

The Bay Region Green Jobs Dashboard connects environmentally related occupations to community college programs, giving users an interactive way to explore job titles, education pathways, and opportunities for program development. Built on O*NET’s national green job classifications and aligned with California’s sector frameworks, the tool supports the Bay Area’s transition to a sustainable economy. Its companion report, Building the Green Workforce Pipeline: Community College Opportunities and Future Research Directions for the Bay Region, highlights priority occupations, skill needs, and research directions to help colleges prepare students for the region’s growing green workforce.

They also released the Student Enrollment and Success Dashboard, a comprehensive tool that tracks enrollment and student outcomes across colleges, districts, and subregions in the Bay region. The dashboard enables year-to-year comparisons that spotlight successes, reveal gaps, and inform strategies for improvement. Accompanying it, the report Student Success Trends Among Adults in the Bay Region examines outcomes for learners aged 25 and older, comparing them with younger peers, and exploring differences between Career Technical Education (CTE) and non-CTE pathways.
