The Bay Region Center of Excellence (COE) presented labor market information about the green economy and unveiled a Green Jobs Exploratory Dashboard at the Climate Workforce Development pre-conference session leading up to the 2023 Spring Conference held by the California Community College Association for Occupational Employment (CCCAOE)  in April. 

The session was hosted by the Center for Climate Futures, which is a collaborative initiative between the California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office and the Foundation for California Community Colleges and aims to elevate climate action at community colleges and prepare students for rewarding careers. 

The Bay Region Green Jobs Exploratory Dashboard provides job posting data for the 10 sectors used by the U.S. Department of Labor to define the green economy. A related  Green Occupations and Skills Lookup Tool can be used to search for occupation and skill/task definitions contained in the dashboard.
